142nd Troop Camp 2006 - Cumbria

Camps seem to pass by very quickly, which is probably due to the fact we enjoy ourselves so much. This year was probably enjoyed more than any so far, because of the fantastic weather, I’m sure it will be remembered for many years to come.
The Scouts were being taken home by minibus this year, which arrived at about 9.30am (earlier than expected) but as they had packed all their tents and dining shelters away on Friday there was only the marquee to take down and the main campfire to close down. So an earlier finish for the Scouts than normal but an end to a camp that will no doubt be talked about for many years to come.
As for the leaders, well some get tired!
But a huge thanks must go to them all, Dave, Ruth, Paul, and Ed. Plus the two Explorer Scouts Jeremy and Tom

Next year will be a bit more special than normal, as it’s Centenary Year. Hopefully the weather will take note and provide another glorious week.
