Another feature of Fulwood camps is the overnight expedition, where the Scouts pull together the 'theory' they have learnt throughout the year and complete a two day backpacking hike.
The Scouts are given the location of a camp site, and six locations in the area where they have to take notes in order to answer questions about the area later.
Luckily for the Scouts, the afternoon was dry following some heavy rain. They arrived at Beddgelert Forrest in glorious sunshine and set up their camp as shown in the pictures below.
One of the incentives for getting to this site is the on site shop, showers, and real toilets !!!
