142nd Troop Camp 2003 - North Wales

A simple day really, to complete the route and find the clues. The only difficult decision was what time to get up, have breakfast and start walking. Eventually the Scouts managed to sort themselves out and start walking by 10:30am.
The map below shows the route each patrol should have followed. One Patrol walking clockwise, the other anti-clockwise and meeting at the Beddgelert Forest Camp site. A total of approximately 10 miles over two days.
Unfortunately shortly after setting off, it started to rain and with the exception of a couple of breaks never really stopped until late into the evening. A useful lesson in making sure your kit is securely packed and sealed.
After returning to the main camp, and drying out, the evening was spent playing in the river or getting an early night. The walk must have been more strenuous than we thought.
