The Cub Pack is open to young people aged between 8 and 10 ½ years of age. Places in the Fulwood Pack are normally filled from the Beaver Colony, however they are also offered to others who fulfil the following criteria:
Almost all adults in Scouting, including uniformed Leaders, are volunteers and as such they give their time for free.
The Cub Pack Leaders have overall responsibility for the Pack, and the activities which members take part in. There are other helpers including young Scouts and sometimes Guides working towards their service awards. Parents are also requested to help with outdoor activities.
There are two Packs which meet as follows:
Monday Night
7pm
to 8:15pm
Tuesday Night 6:15pm to 7:30pm

Cubs can work towards a number badges during their time in the
Pack. The main badges worked for are the Challenges, leading to the
Chief Scout's Silver Award, the top award that can be earned in Cubs.

It is hoped that parents will want to support their Scout Group. There are many ways in which this support can be given:
Scouting costs money. The Leaders do their best to offer quality Scouting for the lowest possible cost. The main source of income for the Group is the Membership Subscription paid by all members. Subs are currently paid on a Term basis.
